Previously owned Blanpain Fifty Fathoms Tourbillon Gents Watch, Model # 5025-3630-52. 18kt pink gold 45mm case. Sapphire crystal glass. Black dial with Arabic numeral hour markers and luminous hands and numbers. 18k pink gold screw-in crown. Carbon fiber strap with 18k pink gold tang buckle. Newly redesigned bezel with a sapphire crystal cap. Hours, minutes. Power reserve indicator at 6 o'clock display. Date window at 6 oclock position. 18k pink gold uni-directional time lapse bezel Automatic movement, Blancpain Automatic mechanical movement (Caliber 25A). Waterproof 300m / 1000ft. Tourbillon- Compensates for differences in rate caused by a watch adopting different positions. The principle is to mount the balance and escapement in a rotating cage. The balance and escapement rotate around their common axis going through all positions to average out the errors. Tourbillon cages or platforms usually rotate once per minute but 4 minute and 6 minute Tourbillons are also found. The Tourbillon complication is an extremely difficult accomplishment to achieve and generally demands a high premium. This watch is in great condition with no nicks or scratches.
