-- PLAYER ------.This is a 1957 Silver Plate 16M Conn tenor saxophone. It's just been overhauled byMiami's Manuel Varela [ex Tito Puente and Gonzalo Rubalcaba saxophonist] He did a deluxe overhaul and and took his time to get it best. This is among the best Conn's I have ever played. Lovely top to bottom. It holds and sings court.with all of my 10Ms. I took it to the job last night and got plenty compliments on it's sound.This is a PLAYER that will certainly hold it's own! Finest $900 for a tenor that prepares NOW! I'm keeping one like it for my outside jobs.In charge is pleased I've got a shiny horn and I'm delighted to be using a 57 year old vintage Conn. I decided I would play it for you so you can get and concept of it's complicated tone. It is absolutely simple and easy to play and really sings. I am keeping one that is.almost identical with the serial # scratched off. Figured the one with a serial # would offer a lot easier than without any serial #. It is a looker with a good shine.Little dings on the bow do not reduce it's beauty. Neck silver plating has used off. A past owner painted neck silver but most of that has actually come off too.Has decent Buesher case with deals with and latches that work. Inside storage box requires to be resecured in location however is clean and looks good.This horn is all set to job out of the box. You are taking a look at years of fun and no upkeep. A gamers horn that looks stunning! Yeah you can get a 10M for $1300 but it will probably need an overhaul. You would require to invest another $700-$1000 to obtain it to play.as well as this gem. One of the most convenient playing Conns ever. the bottom end comes out so sweet. Subtones easily.Top end really sings too.
