Above is a frequency analysis of 2 violins. One is the normal eBay instrument and the other is that very same instrument after being correctly prepared by Gainesville Violins. With the hours of work completed, this analysis demonstrates how strong one instrument is compared to another. The very first graph on the left reveals less strong red overtones as you increase the frequencies.
