Customized "Pinecaster" Esquire (# 005) made by Kevin Barnes (Austin, TX). This entire guitar (body and neck) is made from one piece of 100+ years of age antique/reclaimed pine. Long Leaf Yellow Pine to be particular - you can even see old nail holes in the sides of the guitar. Old yearn is valued for its tight grain and low moisture content-- normally dried, the drain crystalizes and makes produce a more resonant and thick piece of wood. This guitar has an incredible knot that flies front to back and includes even more character to a currently distinct guitar.
