Up for sale is a traditional Vietnamese 4-String Plucked Guitar, the Tu Thung.The Tu Thung is a plucked 4-string musical instrument. Its structure is quite similar to the Tu Day but the back is a curved - bulging, convex shape. The tuning pegs are made of wood in the traditional style. Its strings are made of nylon. 19 frets are mounted in accordance with the chromatic scale (the same as a Guitar’s frets). The strings are tuned a fifth interval apart.The Tu Thung of TA THAM traditional musical instrument is always the perfect selection of professional artists and people who love music in recitals and instrumental orchestras in the Vietnamese tradition.This guitar is in excellent condition showing only a small ding on the top left (photo). Unique instrument!Comes with a soft backpack case for easy carry. Stands upright. 35 inches tall / 10.5 inches wide / approx. 5 inches deep at curved back.
