I purchased this guitar new in 2005 or 2006, as my very first "real" electric. It's a Transparent Black quilt top, with a solid body (weighs almost 10 pounds, so none of this chambered nonsense).A couple years ago I changed all the electronic devices and copper protected the entire inside. I also had the stresses leveled and polished, so it's a good low action without any buzzes. The pick-ups are GuitarFetish Fat Pats (PAF clones), and they sound wonderful, plenty but rather hot fat and smooth. GuitarFetish are understood for their exceptional budget plan pickups, and these are a few of their most popular ones. Comes with a 3" Levy's strap. It does tear and have some wear, as it lived in a church closet for a while. Aside from the normal belt rash and choice scratches, it has a ding on the top that I tried to deal with, and a comparable ding in the back of the neck. Both are received the photos. I will have a Line 6 POD HD500 to play through, but no amp, so if you desire to play it through an amp you will certainly have to bring one.
