This is a 2013 Fender Mike Dirnt Roadworn Precision Bass. Functions include white blonde nitro-lacquer finish over light weight ash body. Black pickguard. Tele formed headstock. Rosewood finger board, customized '59 split coil pick-up, Badass II bridge. The Roadworn finish reveals light relicing on body, hardware and neck. The nitro-lacquer will certainly continue to age gracefully while permitting the wood to breath. The neck is slightly wider than a Jazz bass neck at the nut, but has a fatter profile and is incredibly comfortable to play and extremely stable. Fretwork is exc., action is quickly. The '59 pickup is huge sounding and personally selected by Mike Dirnt. It has the very best Pbass sound I've heard in years. Volume and tone pots are extremely smooth and even, with no noise.
