Fender Special Edition Deluxe Players Telecaster. It is the top of the Mexican line Fenders. Classic design tuning secrets, vintage neck tint, 3 tone sunburst finish, updated to a Joe Bardon bridge for tighter articulation background. It has American Vintage Noiseless Tele pickups. Almost perfect condition on the body. Really, very minor scratch right here or there. The only significant cosmetic flaw is the discoloration in the neck where it was originally harmed in shipping however was repaired with a couple brand-new frets, put where it took the hit, and of course planed to match the height of the other worries. The wood in the neck was pressed in from the impact however was steamed back up to the surface. It's smooth and feels like nothing ever took place. The milky white staining is from the gloss coat used over the spot where it didn't quite compare with exactly what was already there. Clean! Brand brand-new strings and simply established by a guitar tech! The only other small concern is this guitar buzzes on a high gain distortion on the back pick-up. Just that regular strat 60 cycle hum buzz. Doesn't make sense since it's a fender "noiseless" pick-up, but it does, so if you wish to purchase this to play metal I would pass. Sounds fantastic clean and minor to medium overdrive! Anyway, the back pickup works great, I guess they just didn't protect something completely in the factory. Sounds great and is practical but if you think it is noiseless, it's not. If it troubles you, replace that bridge pickup and it would be perfect, but it works like it needs to now just with the basic single coil kinda buzz. This guitar brand name new was $700. We are asking $300, that includes a black, hard shell case. (The case is a bit battered, but it does its task. The case in the images IS NOT the case that is being included.) My other half is the initial owner and he has actually played it here and there and at a few shows however it's simply an additional guitar for him taking up space. The remainder of the time he has had it, it has sat in a case and been well preserved.
