My child chose to change from playing viola to violin, and so this stunning, gently-used Ivan Dunov Superior Model 402 Romanian Viola 15" is available for $375. Well-kept in a smoke-free home. Consists of bow and case. Upgraded pegs and helicore strings are other plusses. Eastman Strings' Ivan Dunov Superior Model 402 instruments are similar to the Ivan Dunov model 401 line, but with the addition of more highly select tonewoods and special comprehensive craftsmanship.This instrument is crafted in Romania from extremely select Carpathian tonewoods and carefully in-depth craftsmanship. It includes a beautiful strong spruce leading and maple back, ribs, neck, and scroll. It includes ebony fingerboard and chinrest. The varnish on this instrument is done by hand in the Eastman Strings workshop with an amazing antique-style spirit varnish. Quality, strong clear tone and full-bodied noise.
