The golden-voiced offspring of a mandola (the mandolin-family equivalent of the viola) and a five-string banjo, The Gold Tone Banjola+ is yet another of our banjo variants that are meant to expand the player's tonal vocabulary. Light in weight and easy to finger, the Banjola+ is wonderful for fills and solos in all kinds of music. The super-comfortable curly maple neck has a bound rosewood fretboard and the curly maple mandola body is bound top and back as well. It comes with a passive bridge-mounted pickup for easy amplification and the natural-finish solid spruce top picks up the energy from the moveable ebony bridge and multiplies it into a lovely, expressive sound that will enhance ballads and instrumental music equally nicely. The planetary-gear tuning machines and the mandolin-style tailpiece are chrome-plated and the nut and bridge saddle are made of real bone for the best tone possible. Returns/Shipping When available, Free shipping is to the contiguous 48 United States. Shipping fees to ALL OTHER LOCATIONS will be calculated individually and added buy us to your invoice. Any and all taxes, local duties, or fees outside or inside of the USA are the buyers responsibilities. If a shipment is refused for any reason, all shipping costs to and from will be deducted from the sale price. Most items have a 30 day return policy (see item description under shipping for exact policy of each item). We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee on all returns. If the item is returned in brand new unopened condition, we may charge a 10% restocking fee or you can choose to transfer your restocking fee to store credit instead of losing the restocking fee.
