I am a professional guitar instructor with 30 plus years of teaching experience and 40 years playing experience in all styles. I am proficient in jazz, blues, rock, pop, funk, R, soul and classical. I will tailor your lessons to your specific needs. If your desire is to learn songs I will provide you with custom note for note (and I mean note for note) transcriptions of any and all songs you desire to learn in standard music notation or tab. If you want to learn theory, technique, reading music, composing original material, study solos and chord progressions to understand where the choice of notes and the logic of the composition comes from, ear training, or just get out of the rut you've been stuck in, I will help you achieve your goals.Over the years I have opened for Nazareth, The Guess Who, Mountain, Twisted Sister and many other national acts. My students are in many of the top local bands in the area and many have gone on to national level touring bands playing some of the biggest festivals in the country.
