Design 41 Bamboo H.L. Leonard Ausable Vintage Flyrod Serial # 3516-- Slightly utilized: 8-1/2' - 7 weight with two idea areas; medium & dark brown wrappings; sack; aluminum tube; leather case. Original owner acquired at H.L. Leonard Rod Co. establishment in Manchester, VT in late 70's. Establishment closed a couple of years later on and was located across fro the Orvis establishment a block to the center. -Rod butt marked # 41-3516.-Rod butt cap etched 'The Leonard Rod H.L. Leonard Rod Co.Makers'.-Both tippets are marked 3516.-Wrap colors match the bamboo with an accent wrap area at each end in a burgundy color.
