Jules Keilwerth SX 90R Alto Saxophone with a black nickel plated body with clear laquer. It has gold plated keys with rolled tone holes. Made in 1999 Serial is 112038.This horn plays much better than my Mark VI top to bottom. There is an extra breadth of tone in the low end. Since I play a lot of tenor, I like this quality in an alto and not simply.Cannonball and Sonny Stitt constantly utilized the low end of the horn as does Phil Woods. This horn has an extremely complimentary blowing feel about it. I would say it leans toward a more contemporary sound while still keeping a great heat. Intonation is extraordinary.
