We have this Yellow Mail Alert that has been modified to work on the Mailmaster type of mailbox. Please note that the green mailbox does NOT come with the Yellow Pop Up Flag assemby. If you would like a Mailmaster Mailbox, Lowes has them for $65 each. The Yellow Pop Up Flag easily attaches to the mailbox & can be seen up to 300 feet away. We provide needed hardware, easy to follow instructions, & customer support. When the flag is down, you have no mail & when it is up, you have mail. The device is made of Aluminum, which cannot rust, & the flag is powered by a steel torsion spring. The Mail Alert pictured is mine, & is about ten years old. This unit would also make a nice gift for a Senior, with walking difficulties, & will prevent so many wasted trips to the mailbox, since one never knows when the mailman will show up these days.
