I've thrown 4oz. Glides, PB Rats, Mag-Drafts, and Deps NZ Crawlers on this stick. Also good for magnum cranks, Soft swim-baits, and the large bluegill style soft plastics like the 5.8 Deps Bull flat and Geecrack Bellows gill. Short length is Super fun for bank and kayak fishing. The Megabass Valkyrie Fiberglass/Graphite composite is uniquely powerful and forgiving. Has utility for cover fishing from a boat as well. I spent most of my time throwing 3oz. Crawlers and Rats from the bank at night and had a blast. The regular action Really handles 4lb+ fish on treble hooks superbly. Fantastic Rod with many applications if your a big bait enthusiast.
