Description:

New, custom built, 6'6", 50 - 80 lb., offshore fishing rod. This rod features 6 heavy duty, forged, brass guides that are under wrapped and twice over wrapped by hand onto this "E"-glass blank with black thread and silver/pearl trim. There is also black / silver / pearl marbling near the fore grip and under each guide. The guides range in size from #10 tip-top to #25 stripping guide. The EVA rear grip is 10", the extra wide EVA fore grip is 8" and the reel seat is heavy duty, hooded, graphite. The rod also features the image of a blue-fin tuna that is hand woven onto the fishing rod near the fore grip. Several pictures of the tuna weave showing the detail and craftsmanship of this rod are included. A prominent rod smith of Southwest Florida recently handcrafted this fishing rod using only the highest quality components and the rod is now being offered at a discount price.
