. Lovely Violin with Classic Case! This violin is a German made copy of a Dominicus Montagnana, among the biggest violin makers of the 18th century. It was made someplace in the late 1800s. It is full size. The lettering on the in states:. "Dominicus Montagnana - Sub Signo Cremonae Venetia 1724". I had an expert luthier work on it, made certain it was in leading condition and set it up ready to play. It has a Wittner tailpiece(initial is in the case), NEW Prim steel strings, and a new bridge(former bridge is in the case). Good feel. Great noise for the rate! The case itself is classic with a great deal of character! It is red velvet interior with compartment for rosin, shoulder pad, strings, etc. Two bow holders (but does not included bow). Comes with classic rosin, shoulder pad, initial tailpiece, previous bridge, AND an antique package of 'Bernhardt's Violin Strings - E string' with E string(cool design, very neat) from a very long time earlier. The case is VERY STURDY though it has an excellent amount of wear on the outside. The case is a classic treat itself and has fantastic character! Large amount for the cost !!
