The video camera is fully mechanical other than for the light meter. Focus, shutter speed, ISO, and aperture are all set manually. It is wonderful for someone who desires to learn the basics of photography. It offers a really hands on experience, which urges one to put some believed into each shot rather than simply snapping away like mad and winding up with 300 mediocre shots. Plus, the viewfinder on this video camera is big, so it is a delight to shoot. Due to the fact that I have 3 Olympus OM electronic cameras and I do not get the chance to shoot them all, I am offering it. I actually only need 2, to keep one loaded with color and the other with b/w film. I require to let one of them go ... to a good house, I wish. $125 o.b.o.
