It has 5.66 cubic feet of space giving you plenty of space to transport your gear. The Pelican™ 1660 Case comes with large two person side haul handles, a fold down top handle, a retractable extension handle and strong, built-in polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings. It has an effortless release latch for the extension handle. The padlock protectors provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft. This Pelican™ 1660 Case comes with the unique Pelican™ Pick ‘N Pluck™ foam. This foam is pre-cut which allows you to customize the interior by half inch cubes. Trace out the item you want in the case and simply pluck the foam out by hand, no tool required. You can customize you case in less that 15 minutes. An alternative to organizing your gear. Made of durable nylon and foam. Individual compartments are adjustable using a hook and loop Velcro® system. The 1660 case is unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof just like all the Pelican™ Cases. These are some of the features of this case that offers total; protection for your equipment. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer that makes it strong and durable. Its exclusive 1/4" (6.4 mm) neoprene o-ring and ABS ‘easy-to-open’ latches seal perfectly and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. It is equipped with heavy duty wheels, a retractable extension handle and multiple fold down carrying handles.
