This printer is labeled an Imagistics 2500, was made by Brother (looks exactly like a Brother MFC-8500), and sold by Pitney Bowse I think. Windows [8] picks it up when it's plugged in, and sets up the printer motorist without any problems. It must also be a scanner, however the drivers for recent operating systems do not appear to exist. Still works wonderful as a printer, fax equipment, and low volume photo copier for an office. Uncertain just how much toner is left, however it still prints clear dark text. Even more printing specifications from the manual:. Emulation: Printing System for Windows and emulation.mode of HP LaserJet 5P (PCL level 5e). User interface: Bi-directional parallel (IEEE 1284);.USB (Universal Serial Bus) Interface. Memory Capacity: 8MB. Print Method: Electrophotography by semiconductor laser.beam scanning. Resolution: 600 dots/inch. Print Speed: Up to 15 pages/minute (when loading letter size.or Letter paper from paper cassette). Paper Capactiy: Approx. 250 sheets 20lb paper.
