I AM A NATIVE OF SMITHFIELD NC AND AFTER 30+ YEARS OF PLAYING AND COACHING BASEBALL I HAVE DECIDED TO GO OUT ON MY OWN. I PLAYED FOR NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY, SPENT A SHORT STINT WITH THE OAKLAND A'S ORGANIZATION THEN FINISHED UP MY CAREER AS A PLAYER / COACH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT WILMINGTON. DURING MY PLAYING DAYS I WAS PRIVILEGED TO WORK WITH SOME OF THE BEST HITTING / PITCHING COACHES IN ALL OF MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. I STUDIED HITTING UNDER BILLY DeMARS (PETE ROSE AND TONY GWYNN'S PERSONAL BATTING COACH) AND PITCHING UNDER MARK AND AL LEITER (30+ YEARS COMBINED PITCHING IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES). THEIR PHILOSOPHIES ON HITTING / PITCHING ARE TIME TESTED AND PROVEN.
