The Redington Pursuit 9’0” 6wt is a quality fast action budget graphite fly rod in a versatile length and weight suitable for casting dry flies, dry-droppers, nymphs, and small streamers for freshwater species like bluegill and other panfish, trout, and smallmouth bass. This one appears to have had the first guide on the tip section replaced and epoxied (see photo). I bought it used from a friend a few years ago as a backup rod, however it hasn’t often made it out of the case and I’m replacing the some of the graphite rods in my quiver with bamboo and fiberglass. When I have used it, it’s cast both a 5wt and 6wt line well and has cleaned up on panfish. Fly rods should be fished, though, so make a bid if you or someone you know could use a versatile beginner, budget, or backup fly rod. Includes original case.
