Replacement eggs for ruda3855
Silkies make the ideal pet chicken. They are beautiful, fluffy chickens with fur-like feathers, dark, almost black skin and quirky, sweet personalities. They infrequently lay small eggs, so are not the best if you're looking for layers. However, they make fantastic broodies, mothers, and companions. In this pen, I have white, buff, and black all running together. While my buffs come from a line of show winners, and I believe one of my girls is show-quality (I don't do shows), it's best to expect pet-quality chicks with mixed colors. The eggs are never more than a few days old when I ship them. If you'd like more eggs, check out our other listings. All our birds are NPIP certified and AI clean. I ship eggs using USPS priority mail. I can ship any day you request. Please add a preferred ship date, and I will let you know if it is available. Pickup is available if you're near enough to the CSRA, just send me a message. When purchasing our eggs you are agreeing to the following: 1. We guarantee a 50% hatch rate on all shipments. Randomfertility checks are performed weekly to insure fertility. If you hatch lessthan 50% of your paid order we will ship more eggs to you free of charge, although, since we offer free shipping with every order, you will need to payfor shipping. For example, you order 6 eggs. We send you 8 eggs. 3 hatch, thisqualifies as 50% since you paid for 6. If you hatch 2, we stand by ourguarantee and will ship more eggs for free, shipping fee will be $10.00. Manyfactors can contribute to a poor hatch, like power outages, new incubators, oldincubators, scrambled air sacks from going through the mail, etc. This coversthe cost of shipping materials and the time involved with packing them so theyarrive safely. 2. 2. Sometimes the eggs have a rough tripthrough the mail. If you receive your eggs and the box is damaged and/or theeggs are broken, please take pictures. We will send you more eggs free ofcharge, and with free shipping. We need these pictures in order to file a claimwith the post office. Priority mail comes with insurance of up to $50. If youpay $25 for eggs, we claim $25 and send replacements at no charge to you. Wemust have pictures before sending replacements. 3. 3. Our chickens live in a veryrelaxing, safe, free range environment (and we keep the breeds we wantseparate, and also keep predators from getting to our flock), where they get tofeel grass between their toes and dirt as well. Because of this, sometimestheir eggs can be dirty. We do not wash them because this washes off the bloomthat protects the eggs. This does not affect your ability to hatch them. Justimagine if a hen was incubating them, and had dirty feet. There is nothingwrong with a dirty egg. Some of our hens even prefer to lay on the ground innests that are mostly dirt or red clay. You might get a few in your order. Itis okay. 4. 4. We do not rush when it comes toshipping eggs. Due to the natural instincts of the hens to nest, they will tendto go broody in the process of gathering eggs. Many factors contribute to thereduction in egg production. We live in a hot climate in the summer. Some daysthey won’t lay at all. This is why our shipment dates can be days and sometimesup to a week after purchase. Please be patient and we will get you your orderas soon as possible. We ship Monday through Saturday with the post office using1-3 day priority mail. Even when the post office is closed, they are stillworking hard behind the scenes to deliver your mail on time. We will work withyou and try our best to ship the day you want, however, please be patient. Sendus a message to see when shipment will be available. Sometimes we have an orderahead of yours to fill first.
