Small handcycle for kids ages 3-8
This listing is for a small handcycle intended for kids ages 3-8. I built a small run of them to test out a design. There are virtually no options in the handcycle market for small kids. Most handcycles intended for kids are far too big, far too heavy, and/or far too costly. So, I decided to make some to help fill the void in the industry. These prototypes turned out great. A local cycling club for kids with disabilities have been testing some of them, and the reviews are very positive. They have allowed kids who were previously unable to participate to get out there and ride with (and sometimes passing) the other kids. The light weight, proper crank size, and footrests separated from the steering make it MUCH easier for kids to handle and get up to speed. The seat and footrests are fully adjustable. The bikes have a 16" front wheel and 12" in the rear. They are stable and nimble. It is still unclear if these will actually be put into production, so these few prototypes might be the only ones of their kind. Let me know if you have any questions. I'd be happy to answer and tell you about more of the information. I am located in Albuquerque and can ship these anywhere in the U. S. While shipping overseas is possible, it would likely be VERY costly. Thank you for taking a look at this listing.
