Here is what Squier says about the Classic Vibe 70s Precision Bass: The Classic Vibe ‘70s Jazz Bass is a nod to the 1970s evolution of the J Bass, combining the luxurious playability that made it famous with the versatility and massive tone of its dual Fender-Designed alnico single-coil pickups. Player-friendly features include a slim and comfortable “C”-shaped neck profile with an easy-playing 9.5”-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, as well as a vintage-style bridge with slotted barrel saddles. This throwback Squier model also features 1970s inspired headstock markings, nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tinted gloss neck finish for an old-school aesthetic vibe. All electronics were tested and are working as designed, the neck is straight and the set up is to factory specs. The protective covers are still on the pickguard and back plate.When we polished the bass we found some very light scratches in the finish above the pickup. I have included a picture pointing to them, but they are too light to show unless you are holding the bass with the light at an angle. No one will ever see them when you are playing. The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair. Who refurbishes your instruments? All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier. Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty? No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty. Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it? All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box. However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and getting bumped around during shipping. Also some players like to set up a new bass to their own personal preferences. What identifies an instrument as being refurbished? Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number. This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher. Payment I require payment within 1 day. I prefer PayPal.
