Taylor’s NS64ce is a special nylon string guitar. With its’ Grand Audiorium size and the inspired blend of Big Leaf apple and Engelmann spruce the NS64ce sound even bigger and bolder with increased bass response and sustain.l The NS64CE top is crafted of selected England spruce, while the back and sides are Big Leaf Maple. the mature overtones of the Engelmann spruce top combines perfectly with the clean and powerful voice of Big Leaf maple to produce a balked tone which responds well to the lightest touch. It’s like classical tone meets Taylor playability beginning with a slim and fast 1-7/8” neck and a fretboard radiuses to 15 inches. Introduced in 1994 as a limited edition it was the forerunner of the “crossover nylon stringed guitars”. The Grand Auditorium has the width and depth of a dreadnought but it’s tapered waist and contours give it the appearance of a smaller instrument, making it comfortable to play for extended periods . Taylor’s ES-N piezo system offers high-fidelity amplified tone, unprecedented dynamic range and extraordinary resistance to feedback and distortion.
