The Taylor solid body was so overlooked that it never really got off the ground. The mini humbuckers are great for clean, jazz, country, blues and some classic rock. Definitely not for metal. The 5 way pickup switch in position one gives you the neck pickup in humbucker mode. Position two gives the inside coil of each pickup in parallel. Position three is the neck full humbucker and the bridge inside coil. Position four is the inside coil of each pickup in series. Position is the bridge full humbucker. These tones are further enhanced by the tone knob which is normal for the first two thirds but gets slightly nasal in the final third. The bridge is like no other and there are instructions for setting bridge height, font and back, side to side and intonation. Every time I think of selling I look at the beauty and remember playing and I change my mind. I have cancer and need to pay some bills so my wife will not be bothered. The factory case is in great condition with a couple of scuffs.
