Reed Lake is a deep 45 acre no wake lake found southwest of Baldwin that links to Rainbow and Orchard Lakes, and is near Big Star Lake. It is a great fishing lake and has a good public swimming beach with clear water, a shallow descent and a public watercraft ramp. The home fronts on level quiet woody roads to walk and bike on, with a totally geared up park within simple strolling range. There are lots of birds, including loons and eagles. Close-by Attractions. The Pierre Marquette River (excellent canoeing and trout fishing river) - 10 minutes drive.Farms - 5 minutes drive.Evergreen Covenant Church or Big Star Lake Chapel - 5 & 10 minutes drive.Marquette Trails 18 hole golf course - 10 minutes drive.Huge Star Lake public boat ramp - 10 minutes drive.Baldwin (Home of the famous Jones Ice Cream Store) - 20 minutes drive.Ludington State Park (on Lake Michigan) - Thirty Minutes drive.
