I was finally able to obtain in touch with Peavey customer support to verify that this guitar was built for and displayed at either the 2008 Summer NAMM Show, the 2009 Winter NAMM Show or potentially both. Peavey's records are not excellent when it comes to precise specifics all they were able to confirm is that is was developed for the NAMM Show. This is a 1 of a Kind Custom Shop Peavey HP Special (Wolfgang Replacement) constructed for the 2008/2009 NAMM Show. The HP Specials changed the Wolfgang guitars after Van Halen parted ways with Peavey. The HP Specials were integrateded the exact same customized shop that built all the Standard and Custom Wolfgangs. The HP Specials were produced for a shorter time frame and therefore there are fewer of them offered on the competitive market, being a NAMM Show 1 off custom-made makes this one a rarer find.
