Vega Tubaphone Professional Tenor Banjo1927 Vega 11 13/16 rim banjo in very nice original condition with case. Specifications: -New Fiberskin head-Tubaphone tone ring- Original Grover tuners-19 frets in an ebony fingerboard. 34 1/2 overall length-14 1/2 inch resonator-New Waverly style tailpiece-Original armrest-New Grover No-tip bridge The banjo is in very good ready to play condition. The original Vega tailpiece comes with the banjo. The tailpiece started to stress and do all Prestos so I added the Waverly. The neck and frets are in nice condition. The neck has the right amount of inward relief. The resonator has some lacquer cracks as you can see in the photo. I had hoped to build a conversion neck but have too many projects so someone else may want this vintage banjo. Comes with a hard-shell case the fits the banjo well. This banjo would make a great Irish tenor banjo. Asking $1295.00 plus actual shipping. Will accept check, cash, money order or Pay Pal if the buyer pays the fees.
