1976 Sadao Yairi Model 726 w/OHSC MADE IN JAPAN -This is one incredible sounding Steel String Guitar From the Yairi Family, Cousin to Kazou Yairi of Alvarez Fame. Sadao Actually helped train Kazou! The wider nut Makes this one of the best Fingerstyle Guitars I have Played in a While, This thing sounds like a Much, Much Bigger Guitar! Don't miss another rare amazing sounding, incredible playing Guitar, you will have a new Favorite Couch Guitar that deserves to played on the Porch...or the Stage This guitar shows many of the flaws seen on 45+ year old guitars. The top has plenty of fine finish cracks. The back and sides have none. There are a few dozen minor dings all around. The biggest one is on the back shown in the pictures. None of these things or finish cracks affect the structural stability of the instrument. This guitar is solid with no issues and is very playable. Solid Spruce top X-Braced African Mahogany back & s ides 1pc African Mahogany Neck w/Heel Cap Slot Neck joined at the 12th Fret Ebony Fret Board 20" Radius 25" 640mm Scale Upper Bout 10-1/8th" Lower Bout 13-5/8th" Waist 8-3/8" Thickness at Tail Block 4-1/8th" at Neck Joint 3-1/2" 1-15/16th" Bone Nut, Vintage Style Slot Bridge Hand Carved Compensated Saddle Tortoise Binding Ebony Pins OHSC All Original This gorgeous little guitar has a non adjustable Truss Rod, Neck is Straight action is Great and it plays and sounds incredible! Tons of tone. It is one of those Guitars that has IT!! You know that sound you just Love from a Quality acoustic. This guitar obviously has been well loved and well played. It has a nice open sound that comes from regular use. However, the frets have only minor wear. It is nowhere near needing any sort of fret maintenance. This guitar recently enjoyed the legendary Subway Guitars setup. The action is fairly low, measuring 1/8 of an inch at the 12th fret Low E and a bit lower at the high E. This guitar will please everyone from the professional to the casual player. You won't be disappointed. Ships with the original hard shell case
