Extremely rare, genuine vintage Ulysse Nardin Chronograph in 18K solid yellow gold from the 1980’s. 39mm case, head only, 18K yellow solid gold with white dial. Estimated to only 50 pcs produced, this iconic chronograph is powered by an original and unmodified Zenith cal. 3019 PHF “El Primero” automatic winding movement. The movement is in great condition and running when wound. This cross-brand happened when the UN name was up for sale in the 1980’s and watch designer Oscar Waldan had made a small batch of watches for them using the El Primero movements he had acquired from Zenith during their bankruptcy that resulted from the Swiss quartz crisis. The case is unpolished and has some strong oxidation to the correctors and pushers sides of the case. I am told it can be removed but just have not done so. Nevertheless it displays strong character. The dial and hands are in terrific condition with minimal wear and aging. The movement is in great condition, running when wound, but could use a service down the line to keep accuracy.
