Classic Peruvian jungle jasper locket, of folkloric design, with Peruvian Apu Inti Sun god and ceremonial Tumi knife pendant. Necklace comprised of 15 rectangular stone segments, connected by metal wire.Hand made piece with a manly appearance. Put on as precious jewelry, or use as native art display. Acquired in Peru in the late '70's.Size: pendant 21/2" L; 11/2" W; necklace 271/2" L. Each rectangular stone segment is around 11/2" L x 1/2" W.Most of the green jasper in fashion jewelry making originates from Peru, or Africa.
