This is a remarkable cymbal that I dislike to part with. I've had it since 1980 and have actually taken excellent care of it. The original manufacturing was possibly around 1970 (some state even the 60's). The tone is very just like a Zildjian Ping Ride - there's lots of stick meaning and exact sound, and yet there's a fancy underlying warmth (better than the Zildjians, to my ears ...) Sounds great at every volume. Strong bell, too !! I've done regular cleaning to it, so the surface is reflective and still brilliant. Considering that it is over 40 years old, there is some keyholing however no fractures or damage.This model has the unique "hollow logo" like the early Zildjians had. Your cymbal is from an old cymbal line"RITMO Series" which was produced till 1995 / 1996.Production time was more than 25 years. It's made of the high quality bell bronze B20. At that time, UFIP didn't produce high end and newbie cymbal series. Each series was made for special sound/style of music.The RITMO cymbals were made for general use, as the CLASS Series.
