This is a mid-30s Ward tenor banjo made by Gibson in their Kalamazoo, MI factory. The 11-inch brown stained maple ply rim measures 11 inches OD x.625" thickness. It has a flat tension hoop, single co-rod, 16 shoe brackets with round hooks, simple non-adjustable tailpiece (missing cover), new Remo Rennaissance head and new friction tuners. It had a resonator attached at one time, but the only thing left are the tiny holes for the L brackets. The neck has 19 frets with a 23-inch scale. This is a great starting point for a project. As we all know, the wood rim is the heart of any banjo. Will come shipped in an old, possibly original case, that's suitable for shipping. Still available at ListedBuy!
