The vintage 80's G10 is a TRUE "Guitar Synth" Midi 6 string controller that is connected to the G10C converter rack module.This is NOT not pitch to voltage (i.e. Roland guitar pickup). Pitch sensing utilizing is by means of a ultrasonic noise sensor, speed sensing via electro-magnetic divided pickup and string bend noticing via optical shutter sensing unit.Instrument Controls include volume, controller wheel, level of sensitivity modification, bend arm, voice increment, and decrement switches. The G10 is a 6 string instrument- (all the very same gauge "3rd string".016" X 6) on a 23 fret scale fingerboard. The G10C device includes 64 efficiency memories, 4 velocity curve memories, 4 chain memories, pre-programmed memories (64 each) for regulating Yamaha Tone Generators like the TG-33 through midi in / out / thru.The Yamaha TG33 sound module/tone gnerator is a high quality digital synthesizer that employs frequency modulation (FM) synthesis integrated with low-fi (12-bit) ROM samples. Using the joystick controller you can manipulate and integrate the 12-bit samples (consisting of numerous pads, string sections, brass, woodwinds and etherial voices that can be incredibly lush) with the any of the 256 FM vector voices. This provides it a variety of tone and sound that is as mysterious and dynamic as other vector synths such as the Korg Wavestation and ProphetVS. Likewise available is a drum kit, impacts, 8 part multitimbrality for layering sounds and 32 note polyphony! Certainly an effective little beast that can produce very good noises with great deals of activity and character. All handbooks, power supplies, Midi cable television, 15 pin G10 to G10c able & tough shell case are included.
