This beautiful painting by Grace Dyer features a chubby bird perched on a branch made of wood, surrounded by wildlife. The artist's unique style, which draws from Folk themes, is evident in the intricate details of the bird that appear in the piece. The painting is an original, handmade watercolor that has been signed by Grace Dyer herself and measured 13" x 16". I have a similar one listed as well and will combine shipping. Whether you are an art lover or simply appreciate the beauty of nature, this painting is sure to delight. Grace Dyer was a talented artist who lived in the Smoky mountains and was a National Park Service Ranger. She created detailed and whimsical drawings of her favorite beings of the forest. On November 28th, 2016 her studio Fireside Gallery was destroyed during the Gatlinburg fires along with everything she needed to make a living. She recently just passed in March (1948-2023) rest in peace Grace.
