Original Eugene Lingenfelder 1862-1946 Oil on Wood Painting is 6.25" x 8.25""Old Woman in Traditional Headdress"The painting on wood board itself is 6.25" x 8.25".Frame is 13" x 15".Fancy Art NFP 113 E. Main Street Barrington, IL had modified/fixed the framing at some point.I removed their brown paper back to inspect and photograph the oil painting on wood.The painting is signed in the upper right corner - please see detailed photo of the signature(it's hard to see). I used a MACRO lens with polarized filters to photograph the details.I do believe this is an original oil because the frame and old brown paper back is old,painting is detailed, has texture, and is oil painting directly on wood, and is signed. Wood markings are consistentwith old wood manufacture and not modern milling. I'm not familiar withthe history why the painting frame was worked on by Fancy Art in Barrington, IL.Shipping is $45.00.
