This is an early 90’s Cannondale aluminum racing mountain bike that is in used, and good operating condition. This bike falls under the category of an oldie but a goodie, and was originally used as a single track cross country race bike. It’s loaded with the coolest components and parts from it’s era. It features a 21 speed Shimano drive train with thumb lever shifters and triple ring aluminum alloy cranks. The front derailleur is a Suntour XCE, and the rear is a Deore LX. The brakes are sure stopping Shimano XT Canti type in the rear, and Dia-Compes up front. The tires are 26 x 1.95 newer replacement Kenda Komfort multi terrain type, that are mounted to aluminum alloy rims that spin smooth and true. The rear is a Ritchey Vantage. The seat is an Avenir racing saddle, the neck is a Ritchey Force, and it has Nitto swept back racing handlebars. The bike shows signs of wear from normal use, and is in good operating condition mechanically. The hand made in USA aluminum alloy frame measures 20 inches from the center of the cranks to the top of the seat tube, and has a 30 inch stand over height, which is a size medium/large and would be a good fit for riders in the 5' 6”- 6’ 0” range. This model is an ideal all rounder type of bike, and would be as much at home on the road, as well as gravel or cinder trails. Would make a great inexpensive but high quality alternative to purchasing a new Asian made gravel bike, and would be every bit as capable on a rail trail ride as well. The bike is tuned and ready to ride.
