84 Fisher Everest 19” (Ritchey, Teesdale, Mt Tam, Commando)

19.5” c-c top tube, 22.25” top tube. Serial number 19E11, likely means 19” Everest number 11 made.Fillet brazed, top of the line Fisher Everest built by Tom Teesdale. Has plenty of scrapes and scratches but no dents or cracks. Nitto tig bullmoose that clamps on to the stub brazed into the steerer tube, I’ve always thought this system seemed like the evolutionary precursor to the threadless headsets. Fork is filler brazed and I believe the first year featuring the unicrown design.Overall this is a really nice example of a top shelf mid 80s mountain bike. It would make a perfect rider. These are fairly rare, considerably more rare than Mt. Tams or Ritchey Commandos from what I’ve seen. Info is very limited on these and it’s unclear if these are leftover Ritchey built frames, or built by Tom TeesdaleComes with Magura Shorty levers but the mounting screws are tight and I wasn’t able to get them off first try. Haven’t put much effort into getting them off though. Headset needs a thorough clean and regrease as it doesn’t spin, and there are some wrench marks on it.
