This is the legendary Fender 400PS, the most powerful tube amp ever made. Putting out 435 watts RMS with peaks over 900 watts, there is no tube amp than can compare. Its unique design has been called "genius" and "insane!" Each separate output puts out 145 watts per speaker, two equals 290 and using all three totals 435 watts. Along with the two BASS inputs, the 400PS has two NORMAL inputs with REVERB and MASTER VOLUME making it an unparalleled lead guitar or keyboard amp that can be "overdriven" to obtain a superb raunchy sound for blues or rock. Basically this amp has balls that drag on the ground! Very few of these amps were built back in the early '70s and with a staggering price tag of $3,000 in 1970 dollars, few 400PS Systems were sold.
