This terrific trestle table which seats 4-6 (top: 48X30) can either be (1) a significant eye-catcher to contribute to your design with its repainted checkered-top (tomato red, lavender-purple and teal-aqua) - It certainly has gotten lots of compliments with us and was excellent as a little table or as table against a wall= or (2) can be brought back to the original appearance which is as the great table that it was - a MICHIGAN MAPLE BLOCK Trestle table - the very first business to make wood-welded butcher blocks and still among the finest companies to do so.That company come from in Petoskey, Michigan and is an extremely- highly regarded company of top quality. It is solid Maple and, therefore, the table is NOT light! It is a respected company and this is an unique product to have. (For me, this was part of a special project of redecorating while recuperating from bust cancer.).Legs: 28" high + Maplewood-welded top: 2" thick = 30" high. Below are images of the table as it looks now [and a picture of a table in the original color which is not this table however which reveals you what the table resembled initially] We are uncertain the specific age of this particular table as we obtained it from someone else in the around 2000.
