STREAM LINE, Steam Type, ELECTRICAL TRAIN, Remote Control. Classic MAR / MARX Electric Tin Train. In initial box. (NOTE: I have been having e-mail issues for the past couple of weeks, if you have asked and gotten no response, happy try once again. Thanks.). Consists of Electric Streamline Steam Engine, Coal Tender, 5 numerous rail cars, and the Caboose. All in original condition. Train has the very early simple tinge-and-slot couplers design (probably dating it to around 1938-1942). There is some small oxidation on a few of the couplers, no major areas on the automobiles themselves. With power transformer (rubber cord still nice and flexible) and power coupler (connects to track). Consists of an oval track (not shown). Operate on either conventional O27 or O gauge tracks. This train is a fairly uncommon discover. There is a comparable one published on Ebay right now that has an asking cost of virtually $400 with shipping. I am asking just $225 for this historical piece of Americana. (location: Grass Valley 95945 - Nevada City 95959).
