Yamaha RGX-TT, Signature Guitar in Purple. Customized developed by Kings X guitar player Ty Tabor.An unbelievable tone monster. Functions:. Seymour Duncan "Split Rail" pickups in the neck & middle positions.At the bridge a "JB" (Jeff Beck) Seymour Duncan pick-up.This guitar includes a "Mid Boost switch" for making your leads cut through to the front of the band. The body is Basswood, so it's extremely light, yet vocal in its tonal response. The whammy bar is blocked from the factory to press down, not up. This function keeps the Wilkonson floating tremelo system from putting you tuning too far out. The volume & tone controls have rubber o-rings for enhanced grip. If you're not familiar with Kings X music, or Ty Tabor, provide a hear any of the lots of albums and cd's they've put out over the last 30 years and you'll quickly understand why this instrument is worth every dollar ... then some!
