--------------------------------------------------------------------------------.Right here is a beautiful 1972 Martin D-35 that I bought brand-new from Don Weir's Music in Berkeley, California for my 21st birthday. I am the initial owner. Outstanding condition, a couple of small incidental dings (see wedding photos and overall very clean condition). I am a fingerstylist so there is small amount to no wear. The spruce top has actually aged to a golden brown patina. The neck is near perfect after 42 years, straight as an arrow and does not require a reset, 1-11/16" width at the nut, original Grover tuners, expecteded fingerboard, 3 piece EIR back and sides (high quality 70s peppered rosewood), and original blue-gray case likewise in exceptional condition. There is terrific bass feedback on these 35s with the 1/4" bracing integrated with the 42 years of playtime. I've added some bone bridge pins and bone compensated saddle while likewise changing the curled pickguard. The highs and mids just ring BELL SWEET like a vintage MARTIN should. $2,650.
