Description:
2004 Vasile Gliga lion's head scroll violin made in Romania. Bought 10 years earlier but only practiced on a few hours. Consisting of W. Seifert Pernambuco Violin bow, good case, a few electronic tuners, jade rosin, and neck rest. paid about 1800 for violin and close to 500 for bow. Asking 1950 for everything. Paid 700 dollars at John Montgomery's violin store in 2009 for sound post placement, neck forming, refit pegs, bridge, and fingerboard planing. Rehaired bow and new tailpiece. A, D, G strings Dominant. E string tonica i think. Violin hasn't been "played in" so still has a "shy" sound to it, but must open perfectly with lots of playing.
