Generally NEW. Because I had CenturyLink DSL service, I bought this about 2 months earlier (05-02-2014). It worked GREAT for the 2 weeks that I utilized it, and still does. Then I discovered out that cable net was readily available in my area ... so I upgraded from 1.5 mbps to 60 mbps. I don't need the constructed in DSL modem function any longer. It still works fantastic even if you have cable web ... but I'm simply utilizing my older wireless router rather ... I did use it for 2 days with Charter cable internet ... and it worked terrific. This router/modem combo device will certainly enable you to link to CenturyTel/Centurylink, or other DSL companies, without paying them a monthly modem rental cost ... which is $5.99 I believe ... so it pays itself off within a year. I paid $129.99 + tax ... total amount of $141.65 at the regional BestBuy ... have receipt ... so my loss will be your gain ... costing $75 cash money. It works 100 % ... everything that was consisted of at purchase time is included ... box, handbook, cable televisions etc. everything!
