This is a rare Olds Custom CHR trumpet in good condition. Pretty rare since they were only made for a couple years before they were sued for the tuneable bell design by Yamaha/Schilke. This horn was specifically designed for upper register playing. I can tell you from personally play testing that this horn has a really brilliant sound to it and will peel paint due to the design of the bell. The horn does have some issues. It has some silver pitting to the leadpipe, some dimpling to the leadpipe and a dent to the leadpipe. I believe a qualified tech could probably take out the dent and smooth out the dimpling with the right tools. All slides/valves work well and compression is still really good on the horn.It comes with the case that’s pictured (very heavy/solid case), but does not include a mouthpiece.
