Vintage KAY Red "Speed Demon" Hollow-Body Electric Guitar- Refurbish / Display. 1960s. Very Good body. No strings. No knobs (the screws turn, though). No banjo. No bridge. No case. Original pick-up and tuners. I have not opened up this guitar to see what electrical is inside, but I can see one wire through a cut-out. Looks like this might be an early Speed Demon, as the fret board just has four marking dots (??). The finish on the back of the neck is crazed. No finish on the rest of the body. The plastic trim is in great shape, although slightly yellowed. No cracks in the body. There are very, very tiny, tiny white paint drops here and there. Looks like the neck is straight. Total length is 41-5/8". 15" wide at the belly. 19" long body. Fret board is 17-1/2" long. Guitar weighs 5 lbs. 5 oz. The frets are worn, but not down to the wood. "Roll Over Betoven" is stenciled on the front. Beethoven not spelled correctly, of course. Looks as if this guitar was used as a decoration. Sweet! Shipping to mainland USA only.
