Up For Your Consideration Is A Very Nice King Double French Horn! Attention Collectors, man oh man do I have a nice horn for you! This horn recently had the lacquer removed (not fun) and was given a nice light brushed finish after some dents were taken out. This horn still has a lot of brass left on it, and does not have any thin spots. The horn is very solid and limited to some minor dings, dents, surface scratches and other signs of character. I have never seen a horn with the serial number in so many spots! How interesting! The bell was recently cut with an Alexander ring set, and the bell goes on very smooth. The horn comes with soldered on dimes and also has a new hand guard. Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. This beautiful horn recently came out of the shop and was given an inspection. All of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides and valve caps move freely, and the valves are fast and responsive with good compression. Surprisingly there is not much play in the valves. These King valves were built very good and the horn still has a lot of compression. The horn not only looks good but is also a player. The horn comes with a new hand guard in an attempt to make it easier to hold and play. The horn has a very nice sound and will not disappoint. It comes with a King case which has seen better days, but is functioning just fine. This would be a great horn to add to any collection!
